Getty Images seem to be on a media boost recently. First they launch a viral marketing campaign, and now they’ve released a free ebook for the Apple iPad. I’m starting to think there may be something to the Getty IPO rumors we’ve been hearing.
The free ebook isn’t some quick fluff they spit out in haste either. The book is very well designed and packed with videos, images and photo stories that cover the largest news events of 2011 and include a short write up and a set of iconic images for each.
