Tokina to showcase mockup of new AT-X 70-200mm f/4 PRO IF FX lens 0
Just last week, Tokina announced the AT-X 116 PRO DX II, a new 11-16mm f2.8 lens. And now, they are back again with news that they are going to exhibit a mockup version of AT-X 70-200mm f/4 PRO IF FX lens in next week’s CP+ imaging show in Japan.
The 70-200mm F4 telephoto zoom lens features both an optical image sabilization and ring-type ultrasonic autofocus motor. It’s Tokina’s first stabilized lens, which Nikon SLR camera owners will find interesting as a lens comparable to Canon’s 70-200mm F4 lens.
Here are some key features of the AT-X 70-200mm f/4 PRO IF FX:
- Focal length: 70-200mm
- Brightness: F4
- The minimum shooting distance: 1.0m
- Greatest dimension: 80mm
- Length: 168mm
- Weight: Undecided
- Remarks: Ultrasonic motor, built-in camera shake correction mechanism
If you happen to be in Japan next week for the CP+ show, you can see this mockup lens at Tokina’s booth counter.
