Whether you’re a pro or amateur photographer, it’s highly likely that you’ve found yourself having to take your gear with you for out-of-town jobs. You might have a shoot scheduled for an outdoor location or maybe you’re headed off to another state to cover a friend’s wedding–and none of that is worrying, unless you don’t have a set of proper and travel-ready bags to carry your camera and gear with you.
The Think Tank Airport Accelerator.
We all know how expensive DSLRs can be. Unzipping your bag to find a cracked lens is probably every photographer’s worst nightmare. With this in mind, Think Tank has thoughtfully come up with its new Airport series of travel-specific backpacks that not only protect your gear during travel, but also look good, too.
The Airport backpacks integrate quick access pockets for both laptops and iPad, a top pocket for boarding passes, and three robust handles to ensure easy placement and retrieval from overhead bins.
The Think Tank Airport Commuter.
Announced this month, the newly-released bags include the Airport Accelerator, the Airport Commuter, and the Airport Essentials.
Airport Accelerator accommodates two pro size DSLRs, six to eight standard zooms, a 500 f/4.0, iPad, and up to a 17” laptop. The Airport Commuter accommodates a pro size DSLR, four to six standard zooms, (increased depth holds a 400 f/2.8), iPad and 15” laptop, while Airport Essentials accommodates a standard DSLR, four to six standard zooms, iPad, and up to 13” laptop.

Aside from these backpacks, Think Tank also released the Retrospective 7 camera bag, which you can use to carry your gear in a low-key and nondescript kind of way.
Pricing information for these bags are as follows: $279.95 for the Accelerator, $199.75 for the Commuter, $175.75 for the Essentials. Head on over to Think Tank’s site for more information.[Planet 5D]
