Sony unveils three new Cybershot cameras with high-resolution Exmor R CMOS sensors: TX200V, WX70, and WX50 0

Sony recently announced three new Cybershot digital cameras, the DSC-TX200V, DSC-WX70, and DSC-WX50. All three cameras feature “Exmor R” CMOS sensors, which is currently the highest resolution in the point-and-shoot camera category, and improved BIONZ image processor. These combined features enhance the low light performance and auto-focus speeds of the new Cybershots.

Sony Cybershot DSC-TX200V

  • Available colors: silver, black, pink, violet and white
  • Price: $230

Sony Cybershot DSC-WX50

  • 16 MP “Exmor R” CMOS sensor
  • 2.7 in. LCD screen
  • 5x optical zoom
  • Full HD Movie Shooting capability (1920×1080/60i)
  • Available colors: silver and black
  • Price: $200

The cameras are going to be available this coming March together with new accessories like the new LCS-WM and LCS-THT soft carrying cases.
