You might have already heard of Louis Schwartzberg or have marveled at some of his work. Schwartzberg is a pioneer in high-end time-lapse imagery and is the founder of Blacklight Films and of stock footage firm ‘Energy.’ He’s also an award-winning cinematographer, director, and producer with a career that spans three decades.
And apparently, he gives great talks, too. Louis spoke at the TEDx San Francisco and one of the things he primarily talked about was being grateful for being to see the beauty around you. Even beauty that’s as fleeting as the images you see in One Second of Beauty.
Here’s what Louis had to say about being grateful:
Did you know that 80% of the information we receive comes through our eyes? […] and aren’t we grateful for our brains that can take this electrical impulse that comes from light energy to create images in order for us to explore our world?
