Samyang to announce 8mm T3.8 VDSLR lens and 24mm tilt/shift lens 0

Aside from Zeiss, who is rumored to release a new Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZF.2/ZE super wide angle lens on March 16th, Samyang is also going to be busy releasing new lenses this year.

Samyang recently confirmed on Facebook that it will introduce two new lenses: the 8mm f/3.5 IF MC Nikon F (Video Aspherical) VDSLR lens and the 24mm f/3.5 tilt-shift lens (pictured above).

Samyang 8mm f/3.5 IF MC Nikon F VDSLR Lens

Aside from the aperture range of f/3.5-32, additional information on the Samyang 24mm tilt-shift lens is not yet available. Although, Nikonrumors said that this is going to be a “cheaper alternative” to the Nikon PC-E 24mm f/3.5D ED, which is priced at $1,979.

The Samyang 8mm T3.8 VDSLR lens is expected to begin shipping within the month, while the 24mm f/3.5 is coming in the middle of this year.
