Looking for a new feature packed point-and-shoot? Well, my friend, Samsung may have just the thing for you with the recently announced DV300F. Right off the bat what you’ll notice about this camera is that it features Samsung’s DualView technology which essentially means it has a 1.5-inch LCD display on the front of its body making it easy to take self portraits.
But that is far from everything the DV300F has to offer. This camera features a 16 megapixel CCD sensor and a 25-125mm, F2.5-6.3 lens with 5x zoom and image stabilization. Built into this camera is WiFi connectivity which will allow users to actually control the camera from an Android (iOS app said to be coming soon) powered phone. Samsung was even nice enough to bake in a mini browser that will allow you to log in to password protected networks – something that has been a burden on other cameras. Of course, with this connectivity you will also be able to upload the contents of your microSD card wirelessly to services such as SkyDrive or All Share Play.
Unfortunately we don’t have any information in regards to a price point or release date for this camera but it’s been said that we will see a lot more come CES 2012.
