After the movie The Matrix, the filming style of bullet time was highly popularized. In The Matrix, bullet time was captured using a boat load of cameras (120 to be exact) and a lot of digital effects. But what if a similar effect could be created using a single camera on a high speed robotic arm moving around a scene with mind numbing precision. The special effect team at The Marmalade have done just that with SPIKE and have some pretty impressive clip reals to show for it.
