Have you ever wanted to try out what it’s like to shoot with medium-format cameras? If you happen to own a NEX E-Mount camera, you’re in luck because the Vizelex RhinoCam is capable of powering your Sony mirrorless to churn out full 645 medium-format images.
The RhinoCam comes with a large frame with medium-format lens mount, e-mount adapter, viewfinder, and built-in composition screen to preview composed shots. The device is compatible with Mamiya 645, Pentax 645, or Hasselblad V lens.
“RhinoCam offers a cost-effective alternative to full size medium format back options which cost 20 to 30 times more than the Sony NEX,” said Fotodiox vice president of marketing Drew Strickland. “This innovative system makes it possible for photographers to achieve the high quality resolution, detail and sharpness found in images taken with medium format cameras, but for under $1,000.”
For just around $500, you can already use the RhinoCam with your NEX camera. You can get one at the Fotodiox store.[The Verge]
