Panasonic’s newly announced action sports camera, the HX-A100, is way different than a GoPro Hero3 or an Ego Mini because it comes wired to its control unit. But if you don’t mind its “wiry-look,” the wearable camera is waterproof- and dustproof-ready with a battery that can last up to 140 minutes of recording all your extreme adventures.
The HX-A100 is mountable to a backpack or helmet and includes an Earhook if you don’t have any other equipment to attach it to. It features horizon level correction and image stabilization. All recordings can be broadcast live to smartphones and tablets via Wi-Fi connection.
The expected price of the Panasonic HX-A100 is around $300. The release date of the device is not yet known, but Panasonic is already taking pre-orders for the wearable camera.[The Verge]
