Panasonic Reveals Superzoom Lumix FZ1000; Markets It As ‘World’s First Digital Compact Camera’ With 4K Video Recording 1

Set to be released this coming July for around $900, the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 comes with a 4K video recording capability at 30fps. The FZ1000 also features a 1-inch sensor designed for low light performance. Panasonic also included multiple noise reduction system called the “Venus” engine, 25-400mm equivalent f/2.8-4.0 lens, 0.39-inch EVF, and 3-inch rear LCD that can rotate 180 degrees sideways or 280 degrees vertically. And yes, the now standard NFC and Wi-Fi features are also listed as specs of the Lumix FZ1000.
