One way to introduce kids into the amazing world of photography is by getting them a camera that they can use with ease. I still remember how excited I was when my dad gave me my first camera (it was a Polaroid, if you’re curious). But being a bit of a klutz back then, it stopped working after I dropped it a couple of times.
If you’re wondering what camera to get for your kids when that special time comes, then you might want to wait it out a bit. That’s because, although it still hasn’t been officially announced, Nikon will be introducing its first waterproof and shockproof Coolpix camera that’s geared specially for kids.
The up-and-coming Coolpix for kids will also have some unique built-in features (it’s still top secret as to what these might be). It will be priced at around $120 and will probably be unveiled at the CP show in Japan next month.
This will be the second Nikon Coolpix waterproof camera that will precede the Coolpix AW100.
