Not too long ago we told you that after a string of rumors, Nikon had finally come forward and announced their latest D3200 HD-SLR. The new camera is built from the ground up to accommodate everyone from casual folk looking for a high quality camera, all the way up to hardcore photographers. Under the hood you’ll find a 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor which allows users to capture beautiful still images as well as full 1080p HD video. It also comes with all of the necessary features to deal with the plethora of environments photography situations we told you about during the initial announcement.

However, while we were given an indepth look at the D3200 and all of its features during said announcement, we weren’t told when exactly we would be able to get our hands on it. Luckily, it seems that Nikon aims to impress as they surprised consumers by already shipping it to some of the more popular retailers. From the looks of it, everyone from Amazon to J&R currently have the camera in stock.

Buying from either of the aforementioned retailers will net customers both the body and an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR NIKKOR zoom lens. Although J&R seems to be the better buy, offering the camera for $699.95 while Amazon has it for $746.95 they are currently out of stock while Amazon still has some available. On that note, we’ll keep an eye out for additional retailers offering the Nikon D3200 and keep you posted.
