Now that CES is finally coming to a close you’re probably assuming that the onslaught of product announcements will come to an end. Well, much to our delight, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Those paying attention will know that Nikon recently made a high profile announcement of their sought after Nikon D4 DSLR whose pre-orders have just gone live. Of course, there were many other Nikon announcements to be made at CES but nothing that caused waves like the D4.
Hot on the heels of said D4 announcement Nikon is at it once again letting us know that come February 7th they will be making yet another major product announcement. February 7th is actually the date that the Japanese photography conference dubbed CP+ Camera and Imaging Show is set to begin in Japan so there are sure to be a ton of photography related announcements.
But what will we see from this announcement from Nikon, you ask? In reality, we haven’t a clue. However, if we were to take an educated guess, we would say that Nikon will use this as a chance to unveil the D800 that’s been talked about quite a bit and potentially leaked. Seeing how the day conference lasts for several days, other products including point-and-shoots and lenses are sure to come from this as well.
