For the trigger happy camera owners out there, here’s another camera trigger that you might add in your arsenal. While the “revolutionary” Shutterbox is still underfunded on Kickstarter, let’s get to meet the new NeroTrigger.
The NeroTrigger, which is marketed by its makers as the “ultimate camera trigger,” is like most other triggers out there: it works on most DSLR cameras (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, and Sony), sensors to trigger camera shutter, and hot-shoe mountable. However, it uses a standard 2.5mm and 3.5mm trigger ports for the camera and external flash, so you won’t have to use a different NeroTrigger when switching cameras.
Using the LCD screen, which has a 132×132 pixel resolution, you can choose from various modes: Lightning Mode, Sound Mode, Time Lapse Mode, Laser Mode, HDR Mode, and DIY Mode. The last one is a unique feature wherein you can set or define your own event to trigger the camera.
For power, the NeroTrigger uses two AAA batteries. It is available in black, blue, pink, green, orange, and red colors.
If you’re already excited to “explore” with the NeroTrigger, you can grab one for around $200.
