Nero Camera Trigger – Triggering Options Galore 0

If you want to take pictures of lightning, popping balloons, gunshots, or any other cool high speed events, you’ll need the help of a remote camera trigger that can be activated by the event you’re trying to capture.  We’ve covered a few of these before, such as TriggerTrap and ioShutter, and here’s one more called Nero to add to the list.

Nero Trigger

Nero is most similar to TriggerTrip in that you can activate your camera (or lights) using a variety of methods including laser, sounds, flash, and more (full specs below).  There is also a cheaper version of Nero that only offers light triggering (read: lightning).  The two versions come in the same case, so don’t be confused by the labels as to what the cheaper version can or can’t do.  Nero also includes a timer so you can use it as a release for time lapse photography.

Regarding ports: both Nero versions have a flash port, which will trigger a strobe, and a DLSR port, which (obviously) triggers your camera.
