Nauticam NA-GX1: Panasonic GX1′s new underwater housing ⁰

Last January, Nauticam announced the NA-V1 underwater housing for the Nikon 1 V1. This month, Nauticam released yet another underwater housing for a mirrorless camera: the NA-GX1.

As the name suggests, the NA-GX1 is made specifically for the Panasonic GX1 camera.

The NA-GX1 features a “rugged, machined aluminum housing with unmatched ergonomics” and a depth rating of up to 100 meters. Its dimensions are 178mm x 129mm x 85mm and it weighs 2.1 lbs. or 0.95 kg. It has ports for lenses like the Panasonic Leica 45mm, Lumix 7-14mm, Lumix G Fisheye 8mm, and Lumix 14-42mm lenses.

The Nauticam NA-GX1 is going to be available on March 31, 2012 with a price tag of $1,200 USD.
