Nauticam Announces the New NA-EM5 Underwater Housing for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 0
If you’re into diving, then you’ve probably felt that immense desire to have a camera with you so you can capture what you’re seeing and share it with the people closest to you. If you also happen to own an Olympus OM-D EM-5, then you’re in luck because Nauticam has just announced its new NA-EM5 underwater housing system for this shooter.
The weight of the housing is average, as far as housings go, at 1.1kg (2.4lbs). It allows users to carry and use their OM-D EM-5 underwater, up to depths of 100 meters. The Nauticam NA-EM5 features the manufacturer’s signature port latching system, as well as a threaded bulkhead port, a new rear-mounted housing o-ring, and a rugged machined aluminium case.
It was also designed with the OM-D EM-5′s best interests (or is it best features) in mind:
To make the most of the E-M5’s excellent EVF, Nauticam has crafted an optional rear acrylic display window that encompasses a mount for installation of Nauticam’s acclaimed 45º and 180º magnified view finders for the ultimate in composition and focus ability.
The Nauticam NA-EM5 housing sounds amazing, as is reflected by its price at $1,350.
