It looks like the Ego Mini and Panasonic’s HX-A100 are not the only stars in this month’s action camera announcements. Monoprice also unveiled the MHD Action Camera, which is so far one of the cheapest video cameras in its category.
The new adventure camera is expected to come with a price tag of $99.99 when it becomes available next month.
The Monoprice camera packs a 1920×1080 full HD video at 30 fps. It also features a 120-degree lens, two-axis gyro sensor, and can survive under water for about 10 meters. Aside from being waterproof, the 5 MP camera is also shock, dust, and freeze proof. It can shoot in single, burst, and time-lapse modes.
Other features of the MHD Action Camera includes a video resolution switch, reset button, micro SD card slot, micro HDMI and mini USB ports.
The sample video below was shot using the 720p option of the camera:
The Monoprice MHD Action camera will begin shipping on February 25.
