M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f/1.8 and 60mm f/2.8 Macro: Two Olympus lenses to watch out for in 2012 0
Aside from the recently unveiled OM-D E-M5 Micro Four Thirds camera, Olympus also announced two upcoming lenses–the M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f/1.8 and 60mm f/2.8 Macro.
The M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f/1.8 is ideal for portrait photography. It features:
- High-speed shooting with a bright F1.8 suitable for the studio use, low light shots and indoor sports.
- High quality metal design and finish.
On the other hand, the 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens is for great for nature photography. It features:
- 1:1 life size magnification (equivalent to 2:1 in 35mm) at the closest focusing distance of 0.19m/0.62ft.
- Dust-/splash-proof design.
Both cameras are expected to be launched by the end of this year. Prices are yet to be announced.
