Leica M10 Release Date Rumored to be May 10th 0

Leica’s M10 was earlier rumored to be unveiled at this year’s Photokina, which will be held in Cologne, Germany September 18 to 23, 2012. That event is still six months away, which is an extremely long way off.

However, the manufacturer has just sent off invitations to an event that will be held on May 10th in Berlin, fueling rumors that this could be the official Leica M10 release date. Some sources are saying that Leica is very particular when choosing their release dates, as the M9 was announced on 09/09/09. The M10 would’ve had an ideal release date with 10/10/10, but they probably decided that May 10th would have to do.

Leica’s press release stated:

Leica Camera has been collaborating with Adode Systems for many years with the common goal of providing our customers with perfect image quality and an intuitive workflow solution. Leica Cameras are fully integrated into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 and offers several advantages such as improved speed and stability with the tethered connection with the S2.
