To get camera buffs salivating in anticipation of next week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Fujifilm is planning to introduce nineteen brand new cameras to show participants. All of the new cameras offer much better specs than their predecessors including higher resolution, additional high definition capabilities and greater zoom ranges.
Standouts include the Fuji FinePix X-S1, a 12 megapixel entry with 26x superzoom capabilities. The three-inch display allows you to tilt the screen as you shoot as many as seven frames per second in standard mode. The high-def video mode has the ability to capture 30 frames per second.
The Fuji X-Pro 1 is the mirorless camera entry from the manufacturer. Features include full metal lenses, APS-C 1.5x sensor, aluminum body, external auto-focus, optical and electronic sight.
Looking for a rugged model with waterproof protection? Check out the buzzed about FinePix XP150. Fujifilm has claimed the camera is waterproof to a 33 foot depth and can withstand falls as high as six and a half feet. It also has extra protections against frost and dust.
The nineteen new models will start hitting shelves in March with releases continuing through the winter and early spring.
