Ever wonder how it’s like to drive a Formula One (F1) racing car? Well, Red Bull wants you to indirectly experience the rush of zipping along an F1 race track through a camera.
Just weeks after the Red Bull Stratos successfully achieved the highest free fall in history, the energy drink company is introducing yet another adrenaline-fueled adventure. This time, they are letting their patrons control a 360-degree camera on a Red Bull F1 car.
In partnership with Making View, the Red Bull Racing team has attached a ViewCam on top of the racing car where users can control the camera at will.
Technically, you can point it on any side of the car: you can view the left side, right side, or even the back of the car. All you have to do is press the arrow keys, drag your mouse, or press the spacebar to freeze the time.
But don’t just take my word for it, watch the interactive video by hitting the source link below to see how cool the whole set-up is. Don’t forget to use the controls to see a 360-degree view around the car.[Red Bull via Geek]
